Delta Air Lines Announces New Service from Monterey Regional Airport to Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
MONTEREY, CA, September 18, 2026 – Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is proud to announce that Delta Air Lines will return to Monterey Regional Airport, introducing new nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). The new service expands travel options for residents, businesses, and visitors while welcoming a new airline partner to the Airport. Delta’s return marks its first service to Monterey in nearly two decades.
The addition of Delta represents another significant milestone in Monterey Regional Airport’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional connectivity and expand air service opportunities for the Central Coast.

The new routes will connect Monterey travelers to two important Delta hub airports. Salt Lake City serves as one of Delta’s principal western hub airports, while Los Angeles is a key Delta gateway offering extensive domestic and international connectivity. Together, these routes provide Monterey passengers with convenient one-stop access to destinations throughout Delta’s global network.
