Monterey Regional Airport Offers Annual Holiday Military Lounge for Active-Duty Service Members
Serving Up Cheer to Our Troops this Holiday Season
MONTEREY, CA, December 16, 2024 – Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is pleased to announce that the annual Holiday Military Lounge will be available to all active-duty military and their travel companions from December 18th through December 25th, 2024. Located in the Administration Office on the second floor of the airport terminal building, local troops traveling during holiday leave can enjoy a complimentary breakfast or lunch, as well as a multitude of snacks, beverages and sweets that can be packed for their travel journey in a lounge space with comfortable seating and secure wi-fi.
The Active-Duty Holiday Military Lounge is courtesy of Monterey Regional Airport in collaboration with Operation: Care and Comfort and has additional generous support from the following community partners: Del Monte Aviation, Monterey Jet Center, SunRidge Farms, Taylor Farms, and Woody’s at the Airport.
Complimentary meals will be provided by Woody’s at the Airport, made possible by public donations garnered via a “Treat our Troops” campaign. Patrons of Woody’s at the Airport may treat a service member with a $10.00 meal donation.
